Security and trustHow we protect your data

Your data stays yours.

This page explains, in plain words, how we handle your data. We only publish a security claim here once we've verified it with evidence from production.

The model and your data

The AI never sees your figures.

The AI only understands the question. Code then fetches the numbers from your data and puts them in the answer. We never use your data to train any AI model.

What the model gets

  • Your question
  • Table and field names (like “orders” and “due date”)
  • Your metric definitions and company terms
  • The shape of the result: how many rows, what type each column is
The model suggests,
code decides

What it never gets

  • Your customers' names
  • Amounts, quantities and dates
  • Order and invoice numbers
  • Any value from your tables

Example: what code writes into the answer

The model sees: "Two orders, {n1} pairs"
You see: "Two orders, 360 pairs"

The one exception

When you upload an Excel file for the first time, we send a short sample of its columns after code has replaced every name and number in it, so the model can suggest which column matches which field. Real values are never sent.

No training on your data

We don't use your data or your questions to train any AI model, ours or anyone else's.

Each member sees only their own questions

Nobody in your company sees anyone else's questions, not even the owner. The owner sees only how many questions are asked, to manage usage.

Quality review

We fix mistakes without seeing your values.

To keep answers accurate and correct mistakes, our quality team may review questions and answers with names and numbers hidden. We never use your data to train any AI model, and we never share it.The same wording is in our terms, our privacy policy and your account settings.

Can Memlira change anything in my system?

No. The first version only reads and answers, and a read-only key is enough to connect.

What happens if my data is out of date?

Every answer shows when the data was last synced, and if it's stale or a sync failed it says so plainly before you rely on the number.

How do I report a security issue?

Email [email protected] with a description of the issue and how to reproduce it. We reply within 3 working days; the rules are in our vulnerability disclosure policy.
